Food for thought?

I think this is worth reading.

It's actually what started me thinking about "normality" as a concept, back when I read it at the end of April.  Because, even though the personal details aren't the same, the cultural references I identify with aren't the same, I could have written this article. 


I think it'd be an interesting discussion to see what other people get out of it, versus what I get out of it.

  1. ok, I think we can read it, but too short notice for tomorrow, when we'll discuss, in addition to work/thinking presented, Nicolas Bourriaud's "Relational Aesthetics," from the Whitechapel/MIT book Participation (2006), that Sara Hendren mentions somewhere as well.

    need to see updated thesis statements, too. preferably digital file, so I can easily enter to your page at upper right of blog page.
